Enchantments

The Enchantments are considered by many to be the crown jewel of Washington State.  I found myself there in the summer of 2017 with five friends to backpack and climb some alpine routes.

       While we spent plenty of time lazing around camp and watching the goats, our main objective was a 4-pitch, 5.7 trad route up Prusik Peak.  The iconic fin of granite certainly challenged us rookie climbers, but the view from the top calmed
